Mama's new laptop, the Red Apple.
The old Powerbook had simply gotten too old, was no longer able to be upgraded with the latest versions of browsers, not to mention getting a bit too full.
And so when the stars aligned, we got this Mama a second hand laptop from Singapore with the help of some old friends.
After some pimping (both for aesthetics and security reasons), this Mama got herself a bright, hot, almost new Red Apple.
In the past 2 months it's been a steep learning curve as I adjusted not only to a new computer, but also new OS, new programs, new workflow, new things...
And the family schedules had not been the most conducive, with trips to Singapore, visit from family, and latest trip to Hong Kong to take care of my Mom.
But we are hopeful for a good year.
Perhaps this is finally when I'll get to populate this space again.
We hope, we hope, and we just jump on and do it.
